The applicant must be a resident.

There is no restrictions on the Maltese visas jurisdiction. Prospective applicants are free to apply for Maltese visas from any of the Visa Application centres accross Turkey and collect processed passports from the same.

Documents Required

⚠️ It’s recommended to provide the necessary documents for faster visa process.

It’s not sure that you will get a visa even if you submit all your applications documents, only the consulate will be deciding about the visa process result.

  1. The original and photocopy of passport which is valid for at least 3 mo nt hs prior to departure, should be presented. The passport must have at least two blank pages. Foreigners who have are residents in Turkey, must present a valid residence permit for Turkey which sho ws that they have been a resident in Turkey at least for the last 6 months and also the expiry date of their residence permit should be valid for at least 3 m ont h s after the return date from Malta.

  2. The visa application form must be fully completed and signed. (E- mail address, mobile phone number, workplace phone number should be included.)

  3. One photo is to be attached. The photo must have a passport format, full-face capture and a light backgr ound. The ph oto must be taken within the last 6 months. (3,5 x 4,5 cm)

  4. Copy of the first page of the passport as well as the processed pages.

  5. Copy of national identity card.

  6. Round-trip Flight tickets (With Pnr Code). The flight reservation submitted must be at least 15 days after the application date.

  7. Applicant must present a Travel Health Insurance policy which should be valid not less than 15 days after return date. Life and health insurance policies are not accepted.

  8. Hotel reservation: Name and surname, hotel’s address and telephone number must be provided.

  9. Original stamped and signed bank documents of the last 3 months should be presented. The bank documents must have been taken within the last 10 days. Applicant may wish to present deed and commercial vehicle registration docume nts.

  10. A detailed signed and stamped Permission Letter from employer (in letterhead). (It should contain the employee’s position, phone number, address, start date of work, duration of the visit.)

  11. SGK Employment Declaration and signed and stamped payrolls of the last 3 months (If the employee is newly employed and has no t received any salary, SGK Employment Declaration must be obtained from SGK offices with original signature and stamp.)

  12. All adult applicants (employed, unemployed, employee or pensioner) and sponsors must present their SGK Service Documents with barcodes. SGK docum ents can be obtained online or from SGK offices and must have been taken within the last 7 days.

  13. Employee s and employers must present their comp any docu ments such as Activity Report, Tax Chart, Trade Registy Gaz ette and Signature Circular.

  14. Farmers should present registration documents issued by Chamber of Agriculture.

  15. Students must present a recently issued student certificate with barcode. This document can be obtained online.

  16. If the applicant does not have the means to support himself/herself, his/her sponsor should provide an original notarized undertaking letter. The letter should be issued on the past 6 months. Sponsor‘s work documents are to be submitted.

  17. Minors should present an ORIGINAL and recently issued notarized letter of consent from BOTH parents in case the parent(s) is /are not applying for visa (even if one parent has custody rights.) Notarized copies of their ID cards/original public registry document shoul d be attached.

  18. Signed and dated petition written in Turkish or English that includes the situations you want to explain regarding your visa application.
