Who Can Apply from the UAE?
The applicant must be a resident of the UAE. You can apply for a Schengen visa from any city that has a VFS visa center. Where your Emirates ID was issued doesn't matter.

Schengen Visa – Category C
Online application (Visa C) form duly completed and signed Note: for children under the age of 18 both parents must sign an authorization letter. Passport copies of the parents/legal guardians must be attached. Proof of present legal guardianship must be provided.

Original personal bank account statement for the last three months signed and stamped by the bank with salary income and traceable financial means

Business travel: Invitation letter from acompany oran authority to attend a meeting, conference or event or other documents which show the existence of trade relations or relations for work purposes (e.g. confirmed registrations for trade fairs or congresses etc).
Medical treatment: A document issued by the medical institution in the Member State of destination confirming that the applicant will receive medical care in that institution mentioning duration of treatment. Pre-payment or other proof of sufficient financial means to cover the medical treatment and related expenses, such as insurance coverage.
Short term study or training: A certificate of enrolment at an educational establishment for the purposes of attending vocational or theoretical courses within the framework of basic and further training; Student cards or certificates of the courses to be attended

Book an Appointment:
Applications for short stay visas are accepted at the Visa Application Centre through prior appointments. Once you’ve booked your appointment, a secure payment of AED 110.90 must be made via a Debit or credit card on the website, for an immediate appointment confirmation (all applicable taxes included), you’ll receive an appointment confirmation email along with the letter of appointment. Please carry a print of your Appointment Letter when you visit the Visa Application Centre for your appointment.

If you are part of a family or group, you’ll have to book individual appointments for each member of the family or group.
Pay your fees: Once you have made your application, you will need to pay your visa application fee. If you are applying online for your visa, your payment will be made as part of this process. If you download the form to print and bring to the Visa Application Centre, payment can be made at the time of your appointment.
