Application form should be fully completed online. The surname and all names as shown in the passport must be entered into the corresponding fields on the application form in the exact order as in the Machine-Readable Zone.
All other information requested in the application must match exactly as per the passport. The completed application must be signed by the applicant. If there is an error, the application will need to be filled out online again.

Note: For children under 18 years old, both parents must sign the application form. Passport copies of the father and mother have to be attached along with their No Objection covering letter.
Original Passport and Passport Copy
The passport must be valid at least 3 months longer than the intended date of return from Schengen. The passport must contain the signature of the holder. At least 2 blank pages must be available in passport. Passport issued more than 10 years ago will not be accepted.
Residence permit valid three months beyond the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States or, for GCC citizens, a UAE-ID-card, valid for three months after the intended departure date from the territory of the Member States.
One (1) recent color photograph
Not older than 6 months, size 3.5 cm × 4 cm, white background, no head or face cover(s) that prevent(s) full visibility of the facial features.
Overseas Medical Insurance policy copy with the option to verify its validity online. - covering the territory of the Member States of the Schengen Agreement and with minimum coverage of EUR 30, 000 for medical expenses, repatriation and evacuation.
Copy of flight ticket or flight reservation including return flight.
Proof of accommodation a) hotel reservation; b) proof of rental or ownership of real estate in the Member State of destination; c) confirmation of private accommodation, mentioning that the host will cover the accommodation costs; d) confirmation of accommodation by the company inviting the applicant, mentioning that the company will cover the accommodation costs
Employees: original letter from employer stating the applicant’s employment status, position, length of contract and salary. Note: A copy of the work contract is required to be submitted along with the application.
Self-employed persons: valid original trade licence
Minors travelling without their parents/legal guardian: original authorisation signed by their parents/legal guardian in front of a visa officer or duly legalised and copy of passport(s) of parents/legal guardian.
Proof of Financial Means: Verifiable evidence of sufficient means of subsistence during intended stay: a) Payslips; b) a valid international credit card accompanied by bank statements; c) bank account statements for the last three months; or d) a national form for proof of sponsorship and/or accommodation.
In addition to the above-mentioned documents, please provide the below mentioned documents if you are travelling for:
Tourism
Full travel itinerary.
Business
Mediation letter completed online from a company or an authority to attend a meeting, conference or event or other documents which shows the existence of trade relations or relations for work purposes (e.g. confirmed registrations for trade fairs or congresses).
Official delegation/mission
Letter issued by the authority(-ies) concerned confirming identity of the applicant(s), purpose of the journey (meetings, consultations, negotiations or events held by intergovernmental organizations), period of intended stay and accommodation details.
Private visit
Mediation letter completed online form signed by the host covering the period of the intended stay. Copy of Passport/Residence ID of the inviter in Lithuania.
Study or training
• A certificate of enrolment at an educational establishment for the purposes of attending vocational or theoretical courses within the framework of basic and further training.
• Student cards or certificates of the courses to be attended.

Step-by-Step Guide to the Application Process
Identify visa type (Choose the right visa for your trip).
Begin your application (Get started with your visa application). Complete the online application form and affix your photograph.
Prepare Documents: Ensure all required documents are ready and properly organized.
Book an Appointment:
Once you’ve booked your appointment, you’ll receive an appointment confirmation email along with the letter of appointment.
If you are part of a family or group, you’ll have to book individual appointments for each member of the family or group.
Pay your fees: Once you have made your application, you will need to pay your visa application fee. If you download the form to print and bring to the Visa Application Centre, payment will be made at the time of your appointment. You can pay the visa fee in cash or by card at the Visa Application Centre visa application centre
Submit Application: Submit your visa application with all the required documents at the scheduled time of your appointment.
Track your application (Stay informed about the progress of your application)
Collect your passport: After a decision on your visa application has been made, you can pick up your documents from the Visa Application Centre or have your documents returned to you by courier (if offered by the Visa Application Centre) for an additional fee.
When collecting your documents yourself, please bring:
your valid ID; and
the receipt issued by the Visa Application Centre.
When sending someone else to collect them, please bring:
a letter of authorization signed by you;
a copy of your valid ID;
the valid ID of the person collecting for you; and
the receipt issued to you by the Visa Application Centre.
Processing Time
The processing time for applications is minimum 15 working days, as per the Schengen Regulation, In exceptional cases, this period may be extended up to 30 calendar days, notably when further scrutiny of the application is needed and when additional documentation is needed in specific cases, the period may be extended up to a maximum of 60 calendar days.
Please be advised that due to the above mentioned minimum processing time, we are not able to guarantee the return of passports by specific dates for travel.
