    • Evidence of hotel bookings or travel plan.

  6. Complete Extract of the Civil Registry:

    • Complete extract of the civil registry.

  7. Travel Medical Insurance:

    • Proof of adequate travel medical insurance covering the entire period of the intended stay, which is valid for all Schengen States and covering any expenses that might arise in relation to urgent medical attention, emergency hospital treatment, accidental death or repatriation for medical reasons. The minimum coverage must be 30,000 EUR.

  8. Proof of Means of Subsistence:

    • Bank account statement on the account turnover during the last three months, proving the source of regular income, signed and confirmed by the bank.

    • Proof of regular income e.g. salary slips of the last three months (or similar).

    • Letter from the employer and/or approval for leave.

    • SGK (social security) registration document.

    • The company registration in the chamber of commerce and a copy of the bulletin of the trade register.

    • Original of the proof of residence in Turkey, valid three months beyond the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States (copy will be made by the visa application centre when submitting documents).

C type (Schengen) visa applications shall be lodged no more than six months, and for seafarers in the performance of their duties no more than nine months, before the start of the intended visit, ad, as a rule, no later than 15 calendar days before the start of intended visit.

Applications shall be decided on within 15 calendar days after their arrival at the Embassy. That period may be extended up to 45 calendar days in individual cases, when further scrutiny of the application is needed.
