Can I apply for a Schengen visa from the USA on a green card or US visa?
Yes. A non-US citizen legally resident in the United States applies in the US, not in their home country, as long as the US status (green card or long-term visa) is valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned return. Your nationality decides the documents and the fee, not where you apply; the consulate is assigned by the state you live in.
